From what I have been told they are a tad shorter, thats ok and they need connectors spliced in..........can someone clarify this....Ben ??. I got a set and will be putting in with the 3500 topend swap but dont know for sure. I do know they fit and work in the 3400 SFI...its the connectors I am unsure of.
He states the injectors in the picture are not the actual injectors that you would receive so there is a possibility that the actual injectors he intends to ship out have a different connector. My 36 lbrs look like the ones in the picture shape wise but they are white and have the first design square connector from the 3.8 SC.
I can't say for sure, I only have the harness for the square plug and 3500 style injectors and my set of 30 lb/hr injectors from the GM 8100 have a variant of what's found on the 3500 so I'll have to find an 8100 harness for those. I want to use the injectors from the 8100 because they are the same size as those found on the 3500 and can handle fuel pressure in the 60 psi range but if they don't hold up under boost I'll have to move to the 36s.
Thanks...I guess I will find out when I get them in and try and instal them. I just wish the 3400 fuel rail was exposed like in the 3800. Taking the UIM off just to get to the injector connector is not a very good design....Oh well...it is what it is...I will post what I find out then....
I don't think they are plug and play. I had to get the connectors from a 3.1 to make them work for PSI's 3400. If I had to do them again it would be a snap, last time, not so much
