    tune or not to tune

    i have a 1995 3100/gp/se/4t60e w/a 1.5 ecm my question is should i swap it out or lleave it alone & if i swap it out for what part no# ecm,wires,plugs,e.t.c...

          it applies to you doesn't it? you have a 94-95 L, N, or W-body car right?

            that will be right(this is the ecm i took from the junk yard 16149396 square plugs (4) didnt get the harness) so i'll just follow the directions & hope for the best. OH forget what tune program i can get for it? (hyper tech e.t.c or do i have to find someone to do it?

              tuning info: that PCM the 16149396 runs on DF code, which is very well documented, could get a chip through potentially anyone. but there are a few things that need to be tested yet: one being how the speedometer is affected by the final drive, and the new chip needs to compensate for this...

                  you shouldn't have to, i mean if you want to you could, but it should work fine after changing i think 1 value in the tune.... i have yet to test it though due to lack of insurance...
