I'm having knocking problems with my Trooper. I'm wondering if I'm not getting any EGR. Any way I can test that? This is a TBI engine with an electronic vacuum actuator thing. The passages are clean, I checked when I had the manifold off.

that's the EVRV setup? if so, it runs on 5V PWM.
if you can apply 5 volts directly to it at idle, and it stalls the motor, you are definitely getting some EGR flow... -
