    need help with a pcm

    ok i have the whole wiring harness and the pcm for a 95 or 96 not usre which out of a Cutlass Ciera.I was wondering hwo can i tell form the numbers on it what year it is and how can i tune it with out geting a chip.any help would be grate

    Its a 95/96, therefore its a FLASH-type PCM, and therefore no easy way to tune it. Around that time frame, not too many people even do re-flashes, but those that do usually charge around $300. Don't expect it to be cheap at all...

        ok iam lost on what this pcm is it has a chip you can remove i have pics i can show anyone but i do not know how to put them on here

              Its the knock sensor filter. The actual EEPROM is soldered to the board...
