can a stock 94 computer handle some boost?

i have a 94 lq1 grand prix & out of curiosity can the stock fuel/spark management system handle 3-4psi of boost if fed from non oversized turbo-if so it would be really nice so i could put everything else on while i save up/pay for/assemble a megasquirt 2 kit. im not real hot on turbos but if the fact that this thing came with obd1 & a map sensor can do me some good im going to be really happy.

94 LQ1? that should have a MAF sensor, but i don't know how high it can read...

i was told by ben that year uses the map sensor so he couldnt burn me a chip...

94-95 uses a MAF, but its 2E, which isn't a very documented code... it also uses removeable PROMs...

what do you mean by removeable proms?

meaning unlike most 94-95 PCMs, you can burn chips for it, not flash it like obd2
