    Drop the Cradle

I have a 1996 Lumina with a 3100 that I need to replace the tranny. I have another tranny and would like to drop the engine/tranny out for replacement. While it is out I would like to change the LIM gaskets, thermostat, and plugs. Does anyone have a guide or set of steps to drop the whole cradle out? I do not have a lift, but I do have a John Deere with a loader to lift the car with (might even win a few redneck awards).

    Suggestions? Advise?

unhook everything that goes between the motor/tranny and body, undo the steering rack, balljoints, ect, undo the bolts and lift the car up off of it.
