    Front cover

Are the timing chain/front covers interchangable between FWD & RWD engines? To be more specific, is there a RWD cover that will fit a 95' 3100? I am wanting to move my water pump and aternator to make room for billet valve covers and headers.

    Thanks,
    Marc

Remember that its gotta be a serpentine front cover since the belt turns the pulley from the back side so it is reverse direction. Also a 1993 to 1995 cover from a Camaro will have the mounting holes for the 7X crank position sensor if you are using an SFI system. There are also differences between the Camaro and the S-10 pumps. The S-10 has what you would call a long shaft pump while the Camaro is short.
