    question... need help

    hi everyone, i have a 97 grand am gt with the 3.1 v6 engine. well it's takin a crap on me so im installing another motor.. now the question

    1.will a motor(3.1 v6) out a 99 mailbu fit in my grand am??? will everything hook up to my harness, ex: sensors and stuff

    i was told a 3.1 from 93-99 are basically the same

      Yes the 99 engine will work. Even 3400's with a little more work.

              does the 99 malibu motor have any more power then a 97 gt 3.1??

                  all 3.1l internally are the same, only difference is computer tuning.
