    3.4 into a Sunbeam?!?!

Hey, new to site, and hoping to share tricks of the trade. I purchased a 60 Sunbeam Alpine Series 1 complete for 600. Don't like either the performance or severe lack thereof in original and did not want to clone it to a Tiger soooooo, in goes a 3.4. Currently rebuilding for higher performance.

The 3.4 should be a real good runner in a light car like your Sunbeam. 180-200 HP or so oughta make it scoot! I'd expect the weight distribution would be favorable over a V8, too.

Here's a little reading material for when you're not wrenching:

    Cheers.........ed

P.S. Be sure to keep us posted on your swap.

        advice

Thanks, I will keep you up to date, currently getting body sandblasted and prep'd for some new tin. Engine well, it is here and will be winter project. All told, should run 220 to 240 RWHP by the time I am done. Virtually same config as the Stalker V6, buildups. Any advice is welcome
