2.8 to 3.1

I am swapping a 1987 2.8 to a 1998 3.1 if I use my old fi system will it hurt performance? and should I use the 3.1 injectors? Or should i use the 3.1 intake and will the computer in the 1987 work well on the 3.1.

So this is a 3100? The only thing you use from the old motor are the fuel injectors. Also some of the sensor will be used from the old motor. Check out the swap section for complete info.
