A 3400/3500 would be ALOT easier and make more power.

The 3.4 DOHC WILL fit if you are determined enough, but there are easier more efficient swaps that come to mind.

Which swaps are easier? could you list them from easiest to hardest?
sorry about the questions but I'm a noobie when it comes to this.

Where would a 3400/3500 come from? year and model?

Grab the guide. Its not really the best guide for your swap, but it will still give you some info on the engines. Also check out the guide on www.domesticcrew.com , as it is more based on the older engines, but for a swap into a J-body. Both of those will at least give you an idea of what is required for the swap.

3400 doesn't seem to be a direct bolt on.
