    Can i replace a 3.1 multi port with a 3100 SFI

      Olds 3.1 Multi Port

      the car is a 1993 Olds cutless surpreme with abad 3.1 multi port and i have a good 3100 SFI out of a 1994 grand prix. the engine will go in but will the injection system work?

        Yes, put the 3100 in it's place and use your old fuel injectors. It'll run fine.

        I'd also re-use the old exhaust manifolds so you don't have to fabricate a downpipe. There might also be a few other small hangups, usually there is a simple fix for anything like that.

            Nope, like Dave said use the 3.1 injectors but you'll also be using the 3.1 injector harness effectively converting the 3100 to MPFI. You may have to rework the injector harness a little (take off the tape and route the wires so it's the same shape as the SFI harness) so it clears everything..
