Hi all...I'm a newbie here....I just picked up a 1994 Pontiac Gran Prix with a bad trans...I'm having trouble locating a trans as well as determining which trans I have....I was wondering if I could swap the 3100 from this car to a later model...Main concern is trans bolt up...sensors, intakes, etc..no prob...any advice is very much appreciated. BTW the 3100 is a fairly new rebuild when the trans blew.

Tranny should be a 4T60E for a 94 GP.

I either need to find a Trans for the car...it's in pretty good shape...just a bit older...or find a newer model car with a bad engine that this engine would fit. Like maybe late 90's Grand Am...etc...Not really picky...just don't want to get a newer car and then have engine not work in it.Comment
