3100 engine swap

Can anyone tell me if a 3100 from a 94' Grand Prix be installed in a 96' Monte Carlo. I dont want to mess with the 96' computer at all. Any help would be appreciated. As far as In can tell the blocks are the same but with different EGR setups. Can the upper plenum just be swapped? Thanks ahead of time.

All you will have to do is swap the upper intake, due to the EGR.

I can't think of anything else that would be different (other than internals)
