    Z34 swap with...??? What...you tell me!!!

    I have a 1995 Monte Carlo and i need a replacement engine..WHATEVER WOULD FIT, without swaping the tranny..can you PLEASE help me? I Need to know what engines would fit there and from what cars.....i am in southern california.

    well, you already have the most powerfull 60 degree motor gm made. id stick another 3.4 tdc in it. the only other motor that debatibly would be good to put in would be an l67 (3.8l series 2 supercharged). its not a 60 degreee v6, and i know ill likely be "smoted" for posting this, but its the only thing that may be worth swapping.

      Did all Monte's get a 3.4L werent some outfitted with a 3100?
      1993 EXT. CAB, 3.4L V6 TBI, 5spd manual. Sonoma
      1990 4Door, 3.2L V6 TBI, 5spd manual. 4X4. Trooper

        not sure on the years, but i know they came with 3100 and 3400, and the z34 got the 3.4l tdc.

          '95 to '99 LS's had the 3100. 2000 to current LS's had the 3400. 95' to '97 Z34's had the 3.4 DOHC. '98 to '99 had the L36 3800 Series II.
