3400 passes emissions test with no modifications

Just thought I'd let everyone know that to my surprise, my 3400 in my '89 Beretta passed the emission test today. It was fairly close to the limit, but i didn't even expect it to pas with NO modifications at all, still running the original 2.8 chip. I've also been a little lax about changing the oxygen sensor as well, (as in, the 7 years i've had it i never changed it).

Pretty cool. How does it run with the 2.8 chipset?

It runs acceptably on the 2.8 chip still.. I'm sure it's not optimal, but no stock chip is. I was just surprised that it passed the "IM240" test before the whole test was completed... now that i think of it, that is better than the 2.8 did.

However, i do need a new ECM and some other stuff. out of the blue i'll lose any power whenever the accelerator is off idle, I just have to reach over and tap the ECM then it's back to normal.

My injectors are what were in it. I didn't loosen a bolt on the engine i didn't have to. The engine was from a '99 Alero, so they're the Multec design (the style used from 87-99)
