can someone help me i was wanting to put a l;ater model of a 3.1 3100 from a later year my car is a 98 olds achieva does anyone know if the later years of the 3.1 3100 will fit without a lot of modificatios?

Should be the same. I just dropped in a 3.4 in my '95. Check my earlier posts. My 3.4 was form a '04 Alero.sigpicHow to make High performance Emissions:
A "true" High flow converter, straight pipe.
Low/No flow EGR valve, block off plate.
Carbon canister and purge valve mod, place in large 30 Gallon can, cover, and place curbside, the city will do the rest.
PCV valve and vent tube, reroute to exhaust to dump where it belongs, on the ground. Or add breathers and let it all free. -
