    DFW 3.4 DOHC mechanic

who in the Dallas/Fort Worth area can work on the 3.4 DOHC?

i'm thinking about buying a '88 Fiero with a 3.4 DOHC engine that needs
    some work to be complete.

    thanks,
    thomas...

you should start learning to work on it yourself
thats what i do with my cars not every one can be trusted nowadays
    which is unfortunate

      thanks...

that's why i sign up here to learn all i can but in the meanwhile
i need someone to finish it. also, i don't have all the resources
to do the mechanical or electrical work. i really hate electrical
      work.

If its got the 3.4 learn to work on it youself. At first it may seem daunting to you but with your access to this site some body will help you. Unless a member here lives close you really dont want to pay someone to work on this motor.

I am in houston, how "complete" is the engine? The electrical should be pretty simple.. computer and harness from the 3.4 to the 3.4. The rest is pretty simple. hard things are starter, mounting it and putting it in, making sure all the things still work
