92 Z34 Rear Spring?

Ok, here's my question. My Z34 is currently outta state at a body/paint shop so I can't take a peek but I caught a PAIR of ready struts on EBay for $40. When they arrived, I took a quick look at them and no coil springs. I thought the rears had them and a ready was supposed to include it. I checked around and it seems that was at least an option, but is it just that- an option or was the spring standard on our beefed up suspension?

Coil overs on a 92 are aftermarket.

Stock FE3 still had a monoleaf, but it was stiffer than the standard monoleaf.
