No way to put rear disc on an L-body?

Been searching the net for tips on this, maybe I'm too tired but I can't find anything. Any of you tried this before? I've put rear discs on my ZX2 at the time using Escort GT spindles and whatnot. I'm also doing a rear disc brake swap (with the 5 lug swap) on the 'stang. But it doesn't seem at all possible with the Corsica.

Don't ask why I'm thinking about modding the daily driver, it's a problem I have...

I normally don't recommend them because their customer service sucks and they are over-priced, but last time I remember, they have a rear-disc conversion for the L-bodies.

IMO, it prolly isn't really worth it. You're rear brakes do hardly any braking. I consider then to be just for looks on L and N bodies. It might be a better idea to invest in, say, a turbo kit or something.

Yeah for the cost I agree. As for the ZX2 it was purely for the looks because I can't stand drum brakes when you purchase nice wheels but it didn't even cost me 200 bucks for the Ford... Oh well I will keep my eyes open for some sort of junkyard swap.

I happen to know a source that is selling a "conversion" Pontiac 6000 rear disc kit for $315 but requires puttin it together and running lines and getting the axle's modified..... beats the what $800 or so for Mantapart

after machining the axles and getting them welded up, im sure your up in the $600 range easily.

www.turboz24.com is selling the kits IIRC.

mantacrap has a special for new rotors, rebuilt calipers for 650. Doesnt include a working ebrake though.
