    Transmission change

    does anyone know of any problems with putting a 4t60e
    trans from a 94 grand prix 3.4l into a 93 grand prix 3.4l

    Well did the 93 use the E code transmission?

    If not the electrical won't hook up right.

        yes, from what i know both use the 4t60e ,but 94 trans added a temp sensor and maybe a different way of controlling the torque converter.what i need to know is i can repin the 7-pin harnnes connector and or modify 94 trans to get it to operate correctly.

          It'll run, you'll just have to wire up the 2 shift soleniods and the TCC only. Leave the PWM and temp sensor disconnected.
