hi im new to this site but i have a 99 monte carlo ls with a 3100 sfi and a 4t60-e tranny and the tranny is slippen ! and how can i solve that as in stop slippen ?

miles and maintence?... have you kept up on the reg scheduled maintence? how bad is it slipping? and is there bad smells?...sigpicComment

check the fluid level running in parl. if its low, top it up and take it for a short drive, see if its fixed, then get it up and find out why its low in the first place. if its not low on flui, itll be an internal issue, and servicing it and putting additives in will not solve it, it would need to be overhauled.
