Where to get a custom torque converter?

I'm looking for a replacement performance minded torque converter for my 4T45E. So far google searching has only produced a brief mention of a company called PDQ. Does anybody here have any recommendations? I need a company that will take my engine and use requirements and recommend a good stall speed for my application.

i know that yank converters make custom torques i called for one last week and they quoted me 650$ for mine !

as power increases so does stall speed... what are you going to be using your car for? what type of driving do you do and how often? whats your current setup?

I would think TCC would do a custom TC.

You may want to PM gectek, as I believe he has a custom torque converter. Im sure you know him from gagt.com spruce.

Thanks but I already know this. I have an idea of what specs I want, but I want to talk to people that truly know this stuff.

Silvergtjrad: Thanks as well, but I don't know where Geteck gets his converters. I have his tranny build sheet as well and.. no luck.

What I want to know is who are the quality custom TC manufacturers. I'm not looking for something radical, but I don't want to run just a generic / stock high stall converter. So far I've found ProTorque, ATI, TCC(thanks Brad) and PDQ.

TCS also does a lot of custom/race applications. they are in canada tho

You also may want to look into a torque converter from a chevy cobalt. They use a 4t45e as well, and the stall speed may be different from our 4t45s. Something else interesting is that they are rated to 325tq as well.
