4T65E Interchange ??

I have a 1999 Montana and I need to replace the 4T65E trans.

Is there a reference on which models will swap in?
Do I just need to match the Ratio and converter?

Should I look for a mini-van trans or will any 3.29 ratio trans work?

I think you have from 97-01 to pick from. After that you would need to swap valve bodys.

Where you at marathonman. I have one out of a Olds minivan. Had 107 K on it. LIM went out and ended up with a broke cam. Im In NW Ohio

I'm not sure, I think it was a 97 or 98. Thats why I posted the tag. I need to go out tomorrow and look at it closer. It could be 4t40
