anyone ever connect a lq1 to a camaro 5spd? not sure what model and year but would like info if anyone has done it. i know the 3800's were in the camaro so im sure if it had a 5spd version.... which im 99% sure i have seen... then there is no reason why a lq1 wouldnt bolt up to that trany... just not sure if it was the same trany as what is in the Z28 or RS or what.

Not 100% sure that it was a Camaro 5-spd, but I do know it was a RWD manual tranny..

the V8s have a differnt bellhousing. The V6s share the FWD bellhousing. But you will need to mount the starter on the opposite side.Lorenzo
