    Removal of Valvebody 4T60E

    Hello,

    Just wondering whats involved in removing the valve body in a 4T60E?

    make trans side cover accessable, either by dropping that side of the driveline down or removing it.

    1 Remove side cover
    2 Remove wiring harness from VB
    3 Remove pump housing
    4 Remove valve body

    If you've never gone into a 4t60e yet, I will suggest buying at ATSG book from ebay, it will help a lot telling you which bolts to remove and what to torque them to going back in. Its a little too much to explain in a post.

      That and some Trans assym grease. Helps keep those dam balls in place.
