4T60-E shutters hard when in reverse

It did it four or 5 times this weekend.
Kinda felt like the car was lunging backwords then stalling.

First gear sounds funny, maybe its griding?

Second, thrid and fourth, Feel Okay, but I can't hear anything over the exhaust at that speed anyway.

Any help you guy's might have dagnosing this would be great help!

EDIT: Also what are the rating for the 4t60-e?
GM Power train no long has them listed.

How high can you get your car? You need 3 feet and special holding fixtures if you don't have or can't fabricate.
If you are driving a Chevy, everything else, is just a blur. 3.4 Carbon Footprint.

I don't think getting my car up 3 feet will be a problem.
I can't fabricate/don't have the holding fixtures. Where would I be able to locate them?

Rent from? Check your local parts place. i.e. Auto Zone or whatever your equivilent. (That spelled right? Never was good with q's) You can do the same with a Cherry Picker. If you haven't done this before, I suggest taking to a shop. This is NOT easy. I never have. That's why mine is going into a shop. I know when the water is too deep!
