    Getrag vs Isuzu

So im going to be swaping an engine and have always loved manuals so i also want to switch my 91 beretta to a manual..

Ive hurd the isuzu transmission is more of a sh**zu and the getrag is the way to go.. ive tryed over and over and over searching fourm after fourm for ways to tell the two apart and have come up with nothing... so im hopeing you guys can help anyone got pics of the two?

may or may not help, as I'm not 100% sure if that is just for a specific car or across the board.

The post above is spot on.4 cylinder cars had the isuzu trans.V6 cars all had the getrag i just found my spare one from a 88 beretta v6 car for my 89. 87-89 getrags are all the same.I believe in 90 with the 3.1 they changed to a nvg550 like my brothers 93 gt.Didn't i already tell you this on bstuff??
