LQ1 has ECCC according to the chart. Stall convertors I have looked at are not compatible, or is there a way around this?

Don't take this to the bank, but I don't think you need the lock-up function. I have run cars with the lock-up solenoid disconected, and it doesn't throw a code, at least not with OBD I. -

a non electronic 4t60 will not throw any lock up codes.. but an electronic 4t60e with the connector unplugged will go into fail safe.. 2nd gear only and throw codes..Comment

quinky- an lq1 is a 3.4l dohc, the car is a 94 Cutlass Supreme SL.
