I was musing today that there might actually be a bit more potential to the 4T45E tranny than most of us FWD enthusiast may have thought. Granted, I don't think any amount of work would make it capable of handling a boosted motor, but for n/a applications, I get the feeling that it might have a lot more to offer. Any thoughts on this?

talk to tejohnson, and I think he can change your mind about what it can handle. He's boosted, running a 4t45 with success so far with his new tran mods, and I'm pretty sure he's rolling with over 12psi. Yeah, I know, it's no 4t65e-HD as far as build potential, but I think his built '45 will outperform a stock '65hdsigpic
