    3100 Header Flanges?

    Anyone know where I can find a set of header flanges for a 3100?
    I have looked and I'm not having much luck finding any.

    Uhh I guess you missied the GIGANTIC post in the performance section. But anyway I make them out of 3/8" mild steel and they are $50CDN for the flanges and shipping to the states and $45 CDN for anyone in Canada.

    you can pay me via paypal at betterthanyou@shaw.ca

        Thanks bzopi, I must be blind, I read almost everything in the performance section and somehow missed it...

        Anyway, so betterthanyou, you sell flanges for the 3100 for $50.00 CAD including shipping?

        Do they have gasket machined surfaces?

          The pics are in that link I gave you. I'm not sure if he ever posted a pic of ones with the d-shaped port, but he has them. Not sure what you mean by gasket machined surfaces...

            No the face is not machined it is just the steel surface. There is no need for a machned sirface.

                      Get the D ones, they'll still work on the gen2... and whenever you decide to upgrade the top end or whole engine they'll still work

                        I am putting a built 3100 in it, so its a gen III anyway. I was mainly looking at how easy mounting runners will be, the D flanges would probably be a little more tricky to get a pipe in.

                        The round hole is 1 5/8" ID right? That even with a runner installed it should still clear the D shape I would think.

                          The round hole is 1 5/8" The D port has a circumfrance equal to that. All you have to do to use the D port flanges is flatten one side of the pipe you are using in order to slip it into the flange. A little bit of heat from a torch will make it very easy to fit it all together.

                          I still have both styles

                            I would rather go with the round holed flanges. It will be the end of this week before I can get payment sent with paypal.
                            Just to make sure it was $50.00 CAD total right?
                            let me know
