    timing cover ?

    I was wondering if any one knows if a RWD front cover will fit a 3400 block, i think there is a differnce but i can't find any info on it here

    It will bolt on but there is a small hole in the cover that has to be plugged. I have a pic of a RWD cover on a 3100 posted in another thread.

      sweet will the steel oil pan bolt up too, it would be much easier to modify that than cast one

        Hopefully someone else can answer that for you as I really don't know for sure.

        I do know that the cast pan is supposed to add some strength to the bottom end of the engine.

          No it will not bolt up.
