3500 Idler?

Anyone know if the Idler on the 3500 (malibu) which replaces the power steering pump will fit onto a 3400? Doing an engine swamp in a Fiero but don't need the steering pump.

it should, it's the same power steering mount and timing cover (I believe the G6 has hydraulic steering)

Really, any 6-rib pulley should do

I took a trip to the local dealership today and had a good look. You're right Cliff, it just bolts on to where the pump used to be, and it only $50 cdn, geuss that $10 US

I never wrote it down OOPS! I went on gmpartdirect and used the mitchell catolog and it doesn't go higher then 2002 (bummer). Just go down to your local dealer and ask the parts counter. We had to look at a diagram to see the right part. I might be ordering it in the next couple of days, If I do, I'll post the part number.
