OK, I did a search and found it
Question.....where can I get this "damper" I read about for 8 pages?

I scanned through the post, will sit and read it when I get time.
But it appears I need to get the damper when I purchase the UDP....this is going in a circle track car that will see around 5,000 rpm often

        Any help will be appreciated.

When you get a UDP you are forced to remove you factory damper. There is no way to reinstall one so basically you are taking a risk when using an after market UDP because no one makes a proper one. The factory damper and pulley are the same component on a factory motor.

Go to E-bay Motors, Parts and Accessories, and type in Chevy Beretta. I have seen numerous strut bars in there for around $20. I believe that the Cavalier strut bars also fit on the Beretta/Corsica as well.
