    headers for my 2.8L TBI

Does any one know of any headers for my 1992 2.8L S10 manual? I contacted pace setter and they say they only have them for the carbureted 2.8L S10. Does anyone know technically why I couldn’t run them anyway?

    Thanks
    Mike

Yes you could run them but you will have to install an O2 sensor bung. Edelbrock and Headman also sell headers.

O2 bung on the drivers side and AIR pump bung on pass side. Eldelbrock does make a set that fits a FI manual and auto tranny, 2wd. I'm in process of converting a set of headmans right now. Welding in the bungs and sending them off to get ceramic coated.

I can swap my a.i.r. plug i already use. But should the sensor go into a y pipe so it can read both sides of the engine? That's the way my stock set is.

        thanks

Yes the O2 sensor should be in the Y pipe

Would be better in the y-pipe but can be put in the header if you just gotta.
