    Removing injectors

    I'm striping my GP of its entire harness to run my s10 hybrid motor and I cant get the injectors out of the LIM on my 3.1.
    Anyone have any good tips for getting these out without ruining them? I already removed the rail. There is just nothing to grab onto good enough to pull them out, I got one on the end cause i could get at it a little better but the rest are really in there.

    I usually keep them attached to the rail and then just gently pry the rail up and the injectors come with it.

      thats how i usually do it with 4cyl motors but i figured with a v motor that wouldnt work.
      I tried putting the rail back on to use it to pry on like you sugested but i cant get the rail back far enough to get the clips on... maybe now that i know thats my only option I'll try a little harder, lol

        I would soak some penetrant in there. gently pry with a slot head. I know when I replaced mine I took all the old o-rings off... cleaned the boars, and installed new o-rings with some sil-glide as a lubricant/protectant
