does any one know the size of the thread in the crank for the crank pulley bolt? the first thread is a little messed up and i want to clean it up with a tap. the lower intake is stamped 04 if the year matters.

12mm X 1.75 thread pitch. The 3500 I picked up was the same way. When I added the crank trigger the stock bolt had no threads to grab so I picked up a new bolt 100mm long. I held the trigger against the damper and stuck a pencil in the hole and marked it where it was flush with the trigger, measured with a caliper and left a little room so it wouldn't bottom out when torqued down. -
