    Intake manifold

Have to change the intake manifold on a 3.1, can't cut intake gasket, have to remove the push rods, how do you adjust the valves after changing the gasket?

DO NOT CUT THE GASKETS. If they are Fel Pro gaskets it says it right on the gasket.

What engine are you working on? Year Make and Model. Some engines you simply torque the nut down others you have to set the lash.

Comp Cams has a great writeup on adjusting lifter preload. However their instructions will say to just add 1/2 turn. This is not enough for factory studs you need to add at least 1 turn after you find zero lash.

The instructions are best found by looking up rocker arm installation instructions.
