    "good" 3400 exhaust manifolds

When looking on domestic crew they say there is a set of "good" 3400 exhaust manifolds. Their design is similar to 3500 manifolds, semi tubular. Does anyone know which 3400 equipped vehicles have these "good" manifolds?

almost all 3400's have the better rear manifold, the front one is still the same though.

Im running the log style manifolds on mine, front and rear, and havent run into an issue yet. Probably sacrificing a little bit of power though.

My 3400 manifolds are like Superdave described and they came off of a '97 Venture van. I ported them and opened the rear manifold up to fit a 2.5" downpipe. My car ran very well with them but with the headers it ran much better.
