how hot does an aluminum head 60*'s LIM get?

    how hot does an aluminum head 60*'s LIM get?

    under hard running but still normal parameters-what kind of temperatures do these things see & at what temp do they warp-does anyone know?

    Pretty much whatever the coolant temp is.

      what about in the lower regions where its mounted closest to the heads? thats what im wondering

        coolant temp +/- a few degrees.


        I hotlapped my 3500 10 times in a row at the track the other day, coolant temp never got over 205F. Intake temps would start around 120F, by the 1/8 mile they were down in the 70F range.
