Without much information to go on, that could be anywhere. It could be the distributor o-ring, a head gasket, a valve cover gasket, a LIM gasket, an oil pan gasket or a timing chain cover gasket...

well it leaks from some where right above the starter sylinoid and when coming down it hits the starter but that was all i could see.

Then that would either be the front valve cover or the front head gasket leaking. I would be more on the valve cover, but you really need to clean it really well if you have a hard time finding where it's leaking from so you can see where the trail starts.

Depending on the vehicle, it could also by the oil pressure sensor.

If it were the rear main seal, then it would be leaking from where the trans and the engine bolts together, out of that plastic inspection cover.

Typically that doesn't go out though... its more likely the valve cover, or Oil pressure sending unit as bszopi said.

I wasn't even thinking about that. Good catch, Brad

Sounds like oil pressure sensor should be right out the front near the oil filter, these usually leak pretty good when the engine is running, these car also leak fron the intake manifold gasket the vally as they call it the oil pressure senson is round and about 3 to 4 inches long depending on yr/ also ck you oil filter

Why did you ask if your not worried about it or even planning on fixing it?
