    1991 3.1 Sunbird Intake manifold/head gasket oil (

I have a 1991 Sunbird 3.1 and it seems to be leaking (clean/non 'seafoam') oil from the intake gasket or the front (right side ? - transverse) header. Everything i have seen seems to indicate that intake manifold gasket and head gasket problens almost always mix coolant with oil which is definitly not happening. The leak is most pronounced on the front header (right? - transverse) towards the back (drivers side) of the engine. Is this possible? What else should be considered? Thanks for your input, This is my wifes first car and i really want to fix it and keep it on the road!

I redid the valve cover seal only to realize after the leak originates lower down.

It's where the distributor would have been on an older engine.

This is where the leak seems to be at its worst, lower down near where the head and the intake manifold (seem) to come together.Photo attached. Thoughts? Thanks for everyone's input it is very much appreciated! !!
