Flywheel/flexplate to crank bolt pattern?

I have been doing a ton of reading on this subject. Would the Flywheel/flexplate to crank bolt pattern be the same from an 89 S10 2.8L to a 2002 Pontiac Grand Am 3.4L? This will be going into a dune buggy that already has a toasted 2.8L engine in it. There is a custom made flywheel and adapter plate already there. I've read that they are the same and that they are not. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in Advance!!

They are the same. The pattern hasn't changed for the entire run of 60 degree V6. It's also shared with with certain I4 engines.
