Getting a heated 3 or 4 wire o2 tomorrow

I'll be looking for AC Delco, Denso, or Walker. These are the only brands I haven't read anything bad about. I might just go with the 4 wire, since I'm not sure about the integrity of my exhaust system's grounding.

If anybody know of another good brand, let me know. (A lot of people seem to have problems with bosch)

I've heard nothing but crap about Bosch. I'd just go with AC Delco.

Not to hijack, but does anyone know what cars came with a 3-wire O2 stock? I'm trying to find a harness connector for the one I bought for my STE.

S-10's with a 4.3L. You may also have luck buying a blank connector depending on what your parts store sells.

Got a 4 wire denso. Now I need to find the crimp-on male connector. I can't get my old ones off the wire without destroying them. (the actual crimped on metal part, not the plastic)

Can you not get the old male connector out of the plug? You can usually do it with a very small blade screwdriver. If not your parts store should sell them.

Take a look on the 3 wire writeup on my website. I re pinned all the wires for a factory look on my truck.

Found some connectors today, now just worrying if the denso signal wire is thick enough, and if I used any rtv with silicone when I built the engine.

All RTV=silicon. Semantics aside, they're the same thing. As long as it's dry, it won't affect the oxygen sensor- doesn't matter whether it's "oxygen sensor safe" or not, so long as it's cured.
