I have a 91 beretta and It is running bad I know ther is a way to check with a paper clip how do I do this

bend a paper clip in a U shape. Slide 1 end in each of the two terminals on the bottom row all the way to the right. Then turn the key on and watch the service engine soon light flash. I.E. 1 flash then a pause then 2 more flashes means code 12. Each code will flash 3 times. The first will be code 12 (that just means the computer is communicating) and any trouble codes will follow code 12. Then it will end again with code 12. -

On my 92 GP it's pins A and B and they are on the top row, not the bottom, all the way to the right. I think it would be the same for your car but I would double check before doing it.Comment
