They weren't from my car, but came out of a 3.4 Camaro.

I have a knock in the bottom of my current engine due to detonation.

You didn't mention what car you have, but the oil pan and rod caps need to come off to inspect. If by chance the crank survived without scoring, youcan replace the rod and rod bearing, but chances are if you heard the knock for long, it's shot.

Depending on what's easier for you to do, you may want to just get a replacement engine. I personally would just rebuild, but my car isn't a daily driver.

well its been doing it for like 3 days i stoped driving it its a 95 cutlass 3100v6

I don't know if you can get your pan off while the motor is in. If so, you can inspect before pulling the whole thing.

well i was told it sounds like a top end knock like valves but i guess ill half to pull the head my self
