gas out of the throttlebody

I have a 93 gp with a 3.1 auto and i have recently developed the problem of gas coming out of the throttle body and running down the intake tube. Making it hard to start, hesitate a little on acceleration and cuts out sometimes if i turn to fast. But runs fine a wot and great one the freeway still get pretty good gas mileage to what can it be???
