It may be even more beneficial to do something like you did Dave and swap in a 3500. Would it mate up with a 4T60-E though and could it handle the power is the question.

in stock form the 3500 puts out like 200 crank HP, maybe 220 with a good tune. the 4T60-E should be able to handle that no problem.

o.k guys so far so good now i need to know can i bolt up a 3400 intake to 3.1 heads and vice versa. i got a sweet deal on some heads but their 3.1 not 3400 so what can improve the hp out of the 3.1 itself and can a bigger throttle body go on??
