    94 3.1 pcv tube

i did a head gasket head change and now the car idles erraticly after it warms up.. my question is does the pcv tube where it connects to the intake manifold have a rubber grommet or is it loosely in there?? because it seems to cure my problem when i put pressure on that point.. any input would be appreciated.

Use a little gasket sealer around it.

the tube is probably rock hard by now, you should be able to get a replacement tube from an auto parts place that will seal much better.

Yes, it has a rubber grommet normally.
