    Resolved : Compression for LE2

What should my 23(this month) year old LE2 engine score on a compression test? (average)

I'd guess somewhere around 100-115, and then all cylinders within 10% of each other.

130-140 is pretty good for that old of an engine. I know 3x00s usually crank between 140-160. So I would say you are just fine.

As far as marks on the pulley, I can't help you out.

3x00 are that low!? my 3.1 with 126K had 173-180 psi., which is within 2.8% of each other.

I still cant seem to find timing mark, but i looked at other cars of same year/engine/ect. and the distrib basically alligned perfectly with the rear head, so I know its probably pretty close. I think...

Can you mark this as resolved?
